Trending at No.2, 5, 13 and more: Lu Han eyebrow piercing. This weekend turned out to be quite the K-Pop Renaissance in neiyu as the ex-EXO member performed (apparently brilliantly) at the music festival “gapday”, his first official stage appearance in a while.
(An unrelated anecdote of Yours Truly: Lu Han was my Fan Origin Story. Strictly speaking, he’s how all of this *motioning to AF* started.)
Meanwhile, trending at No.9, 19, 25, 42 is the historical reunion of BIGBANG at today’s MAMA Awards, where G-Dragon made his official return onto a stage after a 7-year hiatus. It’s quite a moment to witness for fans of my age-group, who grew up listening to that specific cohort of stars, and seeing them enrapt the audience all over again, because they still can.
